Backstage With Chimpanzees

When you go backstage with us, you become a partner in the Zoo’s work to protect and conserve wildlife.

This Backstage Pass takes you behind the scenes with keepers to see the off-exhibit holding quarters for the Chimps and learn how keepers enrich the Chimps' lives and train them to cooperate in their own care. Not for the faint of heart! The chimps can be noisy!
 
Chimpanzee Backstage Passes are available to Zoo Society Members for a donation of $100 per person. Non-Society Members may obtain Chimpanzee Backstage Passes for $110 per person. All, or nearly all, of this donation is tax deductible as a gift to to the NC Zoo Society, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises money for the North Carolina Zoo.  Guest must be 12 or older. Limited to 15 people.
