Seal School

When you go backstage with us, you become a partner in the Zoo’s work to protect and conserve wildlife.

This exclusive Backstage Pass program will take you backstage with the seal keepers to give you a detailed look at how they train the seals to cooperate in their own care. You will have plenty of time to talk with the keepers, see where the seals stay and have all of your questioned answered.  Children should be at least 7 years old to attend this event.

The Seal School Backstage Pass is available to NC Zoo Society Members for a donation of $65 per person. Non-Society Members may obtain Seal School Backstage Passes for a donation of $75 per person. The estimate value of costs and services associated with this event is $5. All, or nearly all, of the remaining donation is tax deductible as a gift to to the NC Zoo Society, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises money for the North Carolina Zoo.
