Come backstage with the Red River Hogs and become a partner in Zoo conservation.

This backstage pass begins when pass holders come together to make some enrichment items for the Zoo's Red River Hogs. Next, we travel to the back of the River Hogs' exhibit to share the treats and toys with them. Smart and active, the hogs will repay the favor with a show of pure pleasure at receiving their gifts. While pass holders watch, a keeper will be available to answer questions about how, and why,  Zoo's keepers work to give the animals toys to play with.


Hog Heaven it available to Zoo Society Members for a donation of $65.  Non-members can join the fun for a donation of $75.  All or nearly all, of this donation is tax-deductible as a gift to the NC Zoo Society and the Zoo's conservation programs.  Suitable for children 10 years old and older.  Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children's and adults' tickets are the same price.
